Barkha Bisht announces departure from Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi as Noina’s storyline concludes: ‘Noina takes a break for now’

Ekta Kapoor’s popular television series, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, has dominated the TRP rankings for the past five weeks, maintaining its position at the top for over a month due to its captivating narrative. However, recent news may come as a letdown for its viewers. Actress Barkha Bisht, who portrayed the villainous character Noina, has departed from the show as her storyline has reached its conclusion.

In a heartfelt message shared on social media, Barkha confirmed her departure from Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and expressed her gratitude to the team that supported her throughout her journey on the show. She wrote, “We’ve made history with this show, and I am immensely thankful for the love and trust I received… People loved to hate Noina, which is all I could wish for… A huge thank you to the team who stood by me at every step! Muzammil Desai, you are the best director I have worked with… I’ve learned so much from you as a person! Khwaja Mughal, thank you for being such a joy to collaborate with! Ekta Kapoor, I appreciate you for giving me the role of Noina and for believing in me! Noina is signing off for now… until we meet again.”

In response to Barkha’s announcement, fellow actor Amar Upadhyay commented, “Hey Barkha, it was wonderful to have you on the show. You played Noina so effortlessly; it was a pleasure working with you again after Doli Saja Ke. I look forward to collaborating with you in the future. Until then, keep enjoying yourself and continue your great work. Thank you so much, and I wish you all the best. God bless you and lots of love to your daughter. See you soon. Cheers!”

Another fan remarked, “I was convinced that no new character could fit into such a great show, but you have matched Tulsi’s acting, which is remarkable! I’ve followed your career since Pyaar Ke Do Naam Ek Radha Ek Shyam and have always admired your work.” A third user stated, “Regardless of opinions about Noina, it’s impossible to overlook her… what an incredible character you portrayed. I genuinely love to hate Noina! Your presence on the show will certainly be missed!”

Recently, on Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Tulsi achieved a significant victory by revealing Noina’s deception to everyone. Noina, who had been pretending to have cancer in order to marry Mihir, was exposed just before the wedding could take place. Earlier in the storyline, Noina’s dramatic tactics had convinced Tulsi to permit the marriage. This plot twist garnered considerable attention, and the show enjoyed a high TRP of 2 for four consecutive weeks. However, while the show maintained its top position last week, it experienced a slight decline in ratings.
