Commercial Bank of Sri Lanka Introduces New Shares Following Scrip Dividend Distribution

Sri Lanka Chronicle – The Commercial Bank of Sri Lanka has announced the issuance of 14,236,841 voting shares along with 984,260 non-voting shares following a scrip dividend. According to a filing made to the stock exchange, the voting shares were allocated at a ratio of 1 share for every 108.2352945432 shares held. Meanwhile, the non-voting shares were distributed at a ratio of 1 share for every 97.8823532400 shares held.

In market activity, the voting shares saw an increase of 25 cents, bringing their price to 211.50 rupees. Similarly, the non-voting shares also rose by 25 cents, reaching a value of 193.50 rupees. (Colombo/Apr17/2026)
