On Tuesday, Prince Harry and Meghan began a four-day visit to Australia, arriving in Melbourne after their flight from Los Angeles.
This marks the couple’s first visit to Australia in eight years; their last trip took place in 2018 when they were still prominent members of the British royal family. During that visit, they announced Meghan’s pregnancy with their son, Archie, while in Sydney.
In 2020, the Sussexes decided to step back from their roles as senior members of the royal family.
During their current stay in Australia, the couple plans to engage in a mix of public and private events.
On their first day, they visited the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne, where they interacted with patients and took photos. They also toured the Australian National Veterans Arts Museum.
Looking ahead, Meghan is scheduled to address a retreat this weekend in Sydney, organized by the women’s group “Her Best Life.” Tickets for this event, which spans from Friday to Sunday, are priced between AU$2,699 (approximately $1,929) per person and AU$3,199 (around $2,286) for VIP access.
