Live Updates on CBSE 10th Grade Results 2026: DigiLocker Advises Students to Prepare Accounts as Results Approach

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is anticipated to announce the results for Class 10 in April 2026. Students will be able to view their results on the official websites, results.cbse.nic.in and cbse.gov.in, once they are released. An update from DigiLocker, the government’s digital platform for managing official documents, indicated that the CBSE 10th results will be available soon. The announcement on X (formerly known as Twitter) encouraged students to create accounts on the platform in preparation for the results.

For the 2026 academic year, the second board examination is optional, offering students a chance to enhance their scores from the initial attempt. This optional exam is scheduled to take place from May 15 to June 1, 2026, with the syllabus remaining the same as in the first session. Under this dual-board system, students may choose to improve their grades in up to three subjects during the subsequent examination. Those who did not pass two subjects in the first attempt will be categorized as compartment students and can take the second board exam. However, students who failed or did not participate in three or more subjects will not be allowed to take the second examination and must wait to sit for the main board exams in 2027.

According to the board’s data, a total of 25,08,319 students were registered to take the exams this year, with 14,08,546 being male and 10,99,773 female. The Class 10 examinations were conducted for 83 subjects across 8,075 different exam centers.

In 2025, the results for the CBSE Class 10 exams were released on May 13. Out of 23,85,079 registered students, 23,71,939 participated in the exams, with 22,21,636 achieving passing status, resulting in an overall pass rate of 93.66%.

Students can download the DigiLocker application from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store, register using their mobile number, verify it through an OTP, and create their login credentials. Once registered, they can access documents issued by CBSE in the education section.

To check their results directly without using DigiLocker, students should visit cbseresults.nic, click on the Class 10 result link, and enter their roll number, school number, and admit card ID. This process will allow them to access their CBSE Class 10 results on official platforms.

To check their results online, students must provide their roll number, school number, admit card ID, and date of birth. These details are required across all official channels, including DigiLocker and CBSE result portals.

Students can register on DigiLocker by visiting digilocker.gov.in, where they will need to enter their mobile number, verify it via OTP, and create a username and password. After completing the registration, they can link their CBSE details to access their Class 10 marksheets once the results are officially published.

DigiLocker access has been enabled for CBSE Class 10 students prior to the announcement of results. Once the results are released, students can view and download their digital marksheets directly through the platform using their registered credentials linked to their Aadhaar or mobile number.

For accessing their scores, students will need to enter their roll number, date of birth, and other required details. The Class 10 exams were conducted from February 17 to March 11, 2026, starting with the Mathematics Standard paper. All exams took place in a single shift beginning at 10:30 am.
