On Friday, Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of the Opposition, concluded his address in the Lok Sabha with a perplexing riddle. During his speech, he alluded to the number ’16’ in a mysterious way, leaving its significance unclear. “The complete answer to the riddle lies in the number 16. Everything is encapsulated in this number,” he stated.
His comments were made amidst a vigorous discussion regarding proposed changes aimed at increasing the number of Lok Sabha seats, redrawing electoral boundaries, and implementing a 33% quota for women.
As he wrapped up his remarks, Gandhi noted, “Yesterday, the Prime Minister seemed lacking in energy. Then I realized it was the 16th of April. How astonishing! The number: Sixteen. The entire answer to the riddle is 16. If anyone figures it out, please send me a message,” he added.
Shortly after Gandhi’s speech, the Congress party shared a graphic featuring the word “sixteen” enclosed within a question mark.

When approached by journalists outside Parliament for clarification on the riddle, Rahul Gandhi remarked, “It is a puzzle, and I won’t disclose the answer so easily. If I arrive at the solution, I will let you know.”
Notably, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was absent from the House during Gandhi’s address.
